Bending my Fingers and Wrist

A wonderful thing happened today when I was out for a cup of tea and a meeting, where i was able to use my right hand by making a partial fist and my wrist was able to bend a few degrees.  Previously, my fingers and wrist were so stiff that I was not able to bend them on my own without help from my other hand. Another sign of improvement is that my thumb base has more muscle tone,  making my hand look normal and easier to grasp things so I do not drop them as often.  These improvements are encouragement for me to continue my finger-wrist stretches & exercises and start doing so for all of my body.  I have started doing my stretches for my ankles & feet, and have found they are less painful and I am able to walk farther and up hills without any effort.  Sitting around the apartment is happening less and less which helps turn my life around, so I can spring into action and do more with arthritic body of mine.
