Diabetic Dessert Recipes

My favourite recipes to make would be desserts to add at the end of a great meal and not the whole meal. :)  This is another area like beverages which will get help from natural sweeteners (i.e. stevio & xylitol) or low amounts of cane sugar & honey.  Including whole ingredients like fruits and natural ingredients like cocoa powder & dark chocolate will help with the caloric and carbohydrate intake.  I do not like using made made sweeteners (sugar substitute) like aspartame, splenda and saccharin because they make me feel more hungry.  This happens to me and not sure about other diabetics, but I usually don't use additional sweeteners but will make an exception if their is no natural sweetness lke fruits.  Just a warning that many of the recipes are high in saturated fat so be careful with your portions. Yummhhh!....  Looking forward to seeing these mouth watering recipes. :)
